I was born in Dorset but have lived most of my life in a village in Staffordshire. I have been drawing for longer than I can remember. I began signing my work as ‘Eric’ for pure mischief as a student.​ I had a spider plant of that name at the time. I graduated with a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design from Birmingham Polytechnic in 1985.

My work experience led to developing drawing and painting for print into digital illustration. I generally use a pen and pixel approach where line drawings are scanned in and completed in Photoshop.

I've spent most of my career in graphics and print. For the last couple of years I have found the best way to earn a living is shifting things in warehouses. I enjoy working alongside my lovely colleagues from four continents.

My spare time usually involves church, drawing, model making, reading and Land Rovers.
